Privacy Policy

Ambassador College is dedicated to upholding the principles of fairness and equity in all our interactions with clients and prospective enrollees. We wholeheartedly embrace access and equity as fundamental components of our institution’s policies and procedures. We aim to foster an inclusive environment free from discrimination and harassment, allowing all students to participate fully and equally in our courses.

We are committed to providing prospective clients with clear and accurate information about our courses, training, assessment processes, services, and any Commonwealth assistance available, enabling them to make informed decisions tailored to their individual needs.

In cases where students may have experienced educational disadvantages or are enrolled through VETrestricted access arrangements, Ambassador College considers these factors in their selection and treatment.

Grievance Handling Policy and Procedure: Ambassador College maintains a robust dispute resolution process to ensure that students have access to a fair and equitable mechanism for addressing any disputes or complaints. This procedure is explained during student orientation, ensuring a transparent process.

Students, who are employees of client organizations, are subject to the requirements of their employer.

Ambassador College is committed to establishing and maintaining an effective, timely, fair, and accessible grievance-handling system, offered to complainants at no charge.

Our objectives include:
• Cultivating a culture that views grievances as opportunities for organizational improvement.
• Implementing a client-focused grievance handling system to prevent recurring grievances.
• Promptly, objectively, and sensitively resolving grievances while maintaining confidentiality.
• Respecting the views of both complainants and respondents, ensuring no discrimination or victimization.
• Ensuring consistency in response to grievances.

Grievances may encompass various aspects of Ambassador College’s services and activities, including academic and non-academic matters such as enrollment and induction/orientation.

Students are encouraged to resolve concerns informally with involved parties wherever possible. Support staff are available to facilitate issue resolution at this level, and informal grievances can be raised with the Training Manager.

When concerns cannot be resolved informally, a staged process as described in our policy and procedure is followed, allowing for an external appeal. Importantly, the trainee’s enrollment status is maintained during the grievance-handling process.

Trainee Complaints and Appeals Procedure: Ambassador College encourages students with concerns about the institution’s conduct to utilize this complaint procedure. All disputes are handled professionally and confidentially to reach a satisfactory resolution.

This process ensures that:
• All parties are clear on the steps involved in the complaint procedure.
• Complaints are managed fairly, equitably, and efficiently.
• Complaints are resolved within five working days.
• Matters of concern related to training delivery, assessment, teaching quality, trainee amenities, discrimination, sexual harassment, and other issues are addressed.
• Discussion and conciliation are encouraged, with external and independent mediation available when needed.

Students have the right to seek other legal remedies if they remain unsatisfied after following the complaints procedure.

Formally registering complaints can be done using the Trainee Student Grievance and Complaint form, and the date of submission is recorded in the electronic trainee records file.

Ambassador College is dedicated to ensuring all our students’ fair and equitable treatment, with a strong commitment to addressing and resolving grievances promptly and fairly.
